They dined on steak and shrimp and finished with a beautifully crafted cake.<\/p><h2>About the couple<\/h2><p>Rose is 84 years old, and Earl is 85. The couple met at a New Year\u2019s Eve dance at Sacred Heart High School. Rose began dating Earl\u2019s best friend, only to get to Earl, and it worked! When asked why they feel they are a good match, they both said, \u201cbecause we are polar opposites!\u201d<\/p><p>Rose and Earl enjoy spending time together and one unique hobby they have is being movie and TV extras. They have been in many films including \u201cGreen Book\u201d, \u201cInterview with the Vampire,\u201d \u201cTroop Zero,\u201d \u201cThree Days to Vegas,\u201d and \u201cThe Pelican Brief.\u201d They have also been extras in TV shows such as \u201cNCIS New Orleans\u201d and \u201cOrleans\u201d as well as been in commercials for Lamarque Ford, Winn-Dixie, the City of New Orleans, and the Chamber of Commerce.<\/p><p>Rose and Earl\u2019s secret to a happy marriage is to always have respect for one another, always trust one another, and always keep the romance alive.
