The poker night they hosted brought residents together for cards and creative cuisine in Roswell, GA.<\/p><p>Chef Michael Barday, who gained his poker-playing experience in Las Vegas, developed the concept for a casino-style evening that everyone could enjoy, regardless of their level of expertise.<\/p><h2>Menu Designed for Easy Enjoyment<\/h2><p>The culinary team prepared a menu that kept the focus on fun and flavor. Big Mac sliders, Kielbasa rolls, pulled pork taquitos, and house-made Chex mix gave residents easy-to-enjoy snacks while they played their hands.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-24d058e e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"24d058e\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c12c1ab elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"c12c1ab\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Residents responded with competitive play and plenty of interaction at the tables. One new player asked a seasoned participant, &#8220;How did you learn poker?&#8221; The answer drew laughs across the tables: &#8220;It cost me 20 years and $10,000 to get this good at poker.&#8221;<\/p><h2>More Than Just Cards<\/h2><p>&#8220;It was rewarding to see residents concentrating on their cards while enjoying the food,&#8221; said Kevin Holyfield, Executive Director of Magnolia Place of Roswell. &#8220;Watching them interact at the tables reminded me that sometimes the simplest activities can be the most enjoyable.&#8221;<\/p><p>The evening offered more than just cards.
