I attended the &#8220;U&#8221; (University of Miami) for undergraduate studies and then received my master&#8217;s degree in health services administration from Nova Southeastern University.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I am married to my wonderful wife (who I first met in high school), and after 3 children and 3 grandchildren, we are still together after 29 years! I enjoy time with my family, playing golf, tinkering around on my guitar, and doing &#8220;honey-do-lists!&#8221;<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I began my healthcare career\/journey as a licensed nursing home administrator 33 years ago doing what I felt was my &#8220;calling&#8221; and what I was being led to do by a higher authority&#8230; taking care of our elders. I&#8217;m glad I listened! My passion and compassion for our residents, staff, and this industry is still burning as bright as it was the day I began my career. She moved here from Colorado and could not be happier. [The associate] and all of the staff were so helpful in this long distance move. The facilities are very nice and Mom loves watching the birds at the half dozen feeders in the garden area in the back.
