This type of care focuses on helping individuals manage the symptoms of Alzheimer&#8217;s or dementia and can provide an engaging and supportive environment.<\/p><p>Similar services to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pegasusseniorliving.com\/south-hill-village\/assisted-living\/\">assisted living<\/a> are available in dementia care communities. Trained staff members provide personalized assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs). This form of senior living is a lower level of medical care than a nursing home. It is a specialized service for memory loss.<\/p><p>These communities are designed to provide residents with a dynamic and supportive environment that helps to slow down memory loss and improve the overall quality of life.<\/p><h2>What treatments and therapies are there for Alzheimer\u2019s?<\/h2><p>Alzheimer&#8217;s is a progressive and degenerative disease that affects memory and cognitive function.
