Meet Barbara and Beverly, two assisted living residents at Broadway Mesa Village who are giving back in the best way.
The ladies collect many dolls thanks to donations to the community and then create the clothing for the dolls. Then, they give the dolls all dressed up to Sunshine Acres, a local foster home for children. They also provide the dolls to local police/firemen who know of families in need.
Knowing there are many families and children in need, Barbara and Beverly make it a point to keep making dolls as often as they can. Once they have created enough, they contact Sunshine Acres, or the local fire departments contact the community when they need more.
