With nearly 20 years of experience — and over 14 of those spent working alongside older adults — Delilah understands that looking good is about more than appearance. It’s about comfort, confidence, and connection.
Delilah often adjusts her schedule to accommodate birthdays, holiday parties, or special community gatherings. She loves helping residents feel prepared for meaningful moments, whether it’s a quiet family dinner or a lively celebration. “For me, it’s never just about styling hair,” she says. “It’s about listening, caring, and helping each person feel like themselves.”
Executive Director Melanie Bolen-Klemer sees the salon as an extension of the community’s commitment to everyday well-being. “Our residents deserve to feel confident every day,” she explains. “Having salon services on-site allows them to keep up with routines they’ve always valued — without the hassle of leaving home.”
The salon has even caught local attention, with Delilah recently highlighted on KLBK News for her work and dedication. But for residents, the biggest highlight is the comfort of familiar care and the chance to enjoy a little pampering whenever they’d like.
