Whipped cream hats met flying cheese puffs during Bridgewood Gardens’ recent Cheese Puff Derby, where residents and staff went head-to-head.
Sitting across from each other, participants wore hats covered in whipped cream and tried to toss cheese puffs that would stick.

The goal was to throw the cheese puffs, have them land, and see whose hat held the most snacks by the end. The friendly competition added unexpected action to the day and brought plenty of smiles around the tables.
This fun-filled event even appeared in The Advertiser-Gleam, highlighting how seniors and staff started a food fight on the playful battlefield.
“Bringing residents and staff together with simple, lighthearted activities is part of what makes our community lively,” said Sharion Walls, Executive Director of Bridgewood Gardens. “The Cheese Puff Derby proved that sometimes the silliest games make the best memories — and the messiest hats.”
