A Week of Wacky Hats and Crazy Socks
At Bridgewood Gardens in Albertville, AL, residents turned Spirit Week into a colorful celebration of creativity. Every day had a new theme, giving everyone a chance to dress up, try out crafts, and enjoy tasty treats with friends.

The week opened with Crazy Hat Day, where residents wore everything from spider web designs to oversized flowers, making the halls full of playful headgear. Silly Sock Day followed, featuring socks with gorillas, sushi, flowers, and more — proving that socks can be just as bold as hats.
Cowboys, Camouflage, and Coffee
Midweek brought Western Day, when cowboy hats and scarves brought a touch of country to Bridgewood Gardens. Residents then switched to Camo Day, enjoying casual coffee and games while showing off their camouflage caps.
The week wrapped up with a Tailgate Party, where football-themed décor and snacks like pigs in a blanket and chips made the day a lively celebration. It was a fitting end to a week of fun and creativity.
Hats, Socks, and Tailgates Bring Residents Together
“Watching residents put together creative hats, show off the silliest socks, or gather for a tailgate reminds me how these activities bring people together,” said Sharion Walls, Executive Director of Bridgewood Gardens. “It’s the small, shared experiences that make a week like this enjoyable for everyone.”
