Residents at Creston Village in Paso Robles rolled out the spooky welcome for a Halloween celebration full of candy, costumes, and community fun. The parking lot transformed into a lively trick-or-treat trail, with creatively decorated car trunks ready to delight kids in costumes ranging from witches and superheroes to tiny monsters. Residents, staff, and volunteers worked together to make every trunk a mini surprise.
“Last year’s event was a favorite for residents. Seeing kids tromping through the dining room to fill buckets with candy brought plenty of smiles,” said Adam Bramwell, Executive Director. “Then families stayed in the courtyard to enjoy hot dogs and chips with old and new friends.” Residents enjoyed meeting the children and sharing the day with families.
This year’s celebration also supported a good cause. Creston Village contributed donations to its Alzheimer’s Walk team, allowing residents to help others while enjoying the festivities. “Our residents in the Connections neighborhood had a great time welcoming families and supporting the Alzheimer’s Association,” added Bramwell.
The event drew hundreds of kids, and the fun didn’t go unnoticed—local news outlet KSBY reported on the celebration, showing how hundreds of children attended and enjoyed the activities. You can read the full story here.
