Pegasus Landing of Chisholm Trail residents swapped their daily routine for farm boots and fresh air during a recent visit to a local farm. Lynn and Randy, family members of one of the community’s residents, opened their gates to show off their longhorns and other farm animals.
The group got up close with the iconic Texas cattle, watched smaller creatures wander around, and even had a few hands-on moments with the farm friends. For many, it was a rare opportunity to experience country life firsthand, just outside town.
“Our residents enjoyed meeting the animals and learning about life on the farm. It reminded me how enjoyable these outings can be,” said Pam Hasson, Executive Director of Pegasus Landing of Chisholm Trail. “Some had never been this close to a longhorn before, and their reactions were genuine and memorable.”
