Magnolia Place of Roswell welcomed 23 high school students from Roswell National High School for a day filled with connection, learning, and laughter. The visit was part of the senior living community’s ongoing initiative to create meaningful intergenerational experiences that enrich the lives of both older adults and younger groups.
The gathering offered a vibrant opportunity for young people to engage one-on-one with seniors — sharing stories, participating in activities, and building bonds that transcend age.
Throughout the visit, students and residents enjoyed a variety of shared activities designed to encourage conversation and collaboration. From games and storytelling to casual chats, each interaction helped spark new friendships and fresh perspectives.
“We believe that creating opportunities for people of all ages to interact is crucial for promoting understanding, empathy, and a sense of community,” said Kevin Holyfield, Executive Director of Magnolia Place of Roswell. “Our goal is to bridge the gap between generations and provide a space where learning and connections happen naturally.”
