We’re so proud of our Historic Roswell Place residents for coming together with the gardening club to refresh our campus gardens. By planting seasonal mums, pulling weeds, and adding vibrant color, they helped create a warm, welcoming space for everyone to enjoy.
The gardening club is a wonderful way for residents to spend time outdoors, stay active, and connect with one another. Working side by side in the garden beds, everyone could see the difference their teamwork made, building a sense of pride and accomplishment throughout our community.
“Getting outside and tending to the garden gives residents a chance to be active and see the results of their work,” said Saron Coney, Executive Director of Historic Roswell Place. “It’s rewarding to watch them care for the plants and the space around them.”
Growing Connection Through Hands-On Activities
The gardening club gathers regularly at Historic Roswell Place, giving residents a reliable way to immerse themselves in nature and build connections with one another. Residents plant and weed, boosting their physical movement while enjoying a calming, purposeful experience that many find fulfilling.
When these residents meet, their sole focus is turning the garden into a vibrant shared space that showcases each of their care and creativity. No matter the season, residents plant and nurture their garden together, embracing new opportunities to shape the community they call home.
