A vivacious group of residents at Town Village Crossing recently came together for a project that was simple but full of meaning: wrapping more than 400 cookies for the Roll Call Veterans’ Group.
Six women from our independent living community gathered around the table, sharing stories and laughter as they prepared each package. Thanks to their efforts, every veteran at Roll Call’s next gathering will have a special treat waiting just for them.
Roll Call welcomes more than 400 veterans each month, and at the upcoming event, each one will be greeted with a handmade cookie package. We’re honored to show our appreciation and support for these veterans through this small but meaningful gesture.
For our residents, this project was never just about crafting. It was about coming together to support local veterans in our community and beyond, and to share a heartfelt, handmade token of gratitude.

The cookies wrapped by Town Village Crossing residents will be distributed at the upcoming Roll Call Veteran’s Group event later this month.
