A little about Alice
Alice is sight-challenged, so the radio has always been her window to the world. She hasn’t missed an Arizona Diamondbacks game or a Phoenix Suns game — not on the radio, anyway. She loves anything chocolate, and her all-time favorite treat is butter pecan ice cream.
She built her career in the banking industry right here in Arizona, went to a Cubs game on her 16th birthday, and has been a light in this community every single day. On July 23, she turns 104.
We’re celebrating with a live mock radio show: real mic, real headphones, Alice front and center. We’ll be playing birthday messages from around the world, live, for her to hear. That’s where you come in.
