Sweaters on, smiles out, and toes tapping—residents at The Rivers at Puyallup in Puyallup, WA, welcomed autumn with a Fall Harvest Fest filled with music and movement. Guests from sister community Gig Harbor Court joined in as well, bringing extra energy and seasonal fun.
The dance floor came alive as residents and guests moved to familiar tunes and autumn songs. Some danced with lively steps, while others clapped along or enjoyed watching friends join in. The day gave everyone a chance to share in the season together.
Entertainer Michael Crain performed seasonal favorites that had residents tapping their toes, swaying, or simply enjoying the melodies. His music created the perfect backdrop for light refreshments and friendly mingling.
Guests enjoyed snacks and a signature fall drink crafted for the occasion, and a raffle added extra excitement with autumn-themed prizes. A lot of residents added touches of orange and gold to their sweaters, giving the celebration a colorful, festive feel.
“These seasonal traditions remind us how important it is to come together,” said Danyal Syed, Executive Director of The Rivers at Puyallup. “Whether it’s residents dancing with their grandchildren or neighbors stopping by to share the afternoon, these are the times when our community feels most alive.”
