Taking Action Against Alzheimer’s
The residents of Evergreen Place are taking one step at a time to beat Alzheimer’s. The community joined the Alzheimer’s Association’s Annual Walk to End Alzheimer’s at Frontier Field to support nearly 7 million Americans living with the disease.

Residents, staff, friends, and neighbors came together as a team to contribute through participation and donations. Each step taken added energy and visibility to a cause that affects families nationwide.
Making a Difference Together
“This walk gives everyone here a way to pitch in and make a difference,” said Julie Westcott, Executive Director of Evergreen Place in Brockport, NY. “Whether it’s residents walking with staff or families cheering from the sidelines, it’s a simple act that adds up in a big way for people living with Alzheimer’s.”
The walk at Frontier Field in Rochester brought the Evergreen Place team together for a cause that matters. Residents walked alongside staff members, showing how senior living communities can be places where people come together to support what matters most to them.
Staying Active and Engaged
Walking for Alzheimer’s awareness provides residents with an opportunity to stay active while supporting a cause close to home. The residents of Evergreen Place showed up ready to participate, adding their steps to a larger effort that supports millions of Americans and their families.
