Pegasus Senior Living Rocks Out for Alzheimer’s Research

At Pegasus Senior Living, we’re dedicated to supporting seniors and families impacted by Alzheimer’s and dementia every single day. That’s why our September 8th fundraising concert at Antone’s in Austin, TX, was more than just a party—it was a mission with music, laughter, and a whole lot of rock ‘n roll.

And yes, that really was our CEO, Chris Hollister, laying down bass lines on stage. Who knew the leader of Pegasus could jam out like that? Guests were stunned (and thrilled) to see him rocking alongside our incredible bandmates.

A Night of Unforgettable Performances

From the moment the first chord rang out, the energy was electric. Blind Date, Austin’s premier party band, lit up the stage with a setlist that kept everyone moving.

No one could resist belting out “Friends in Low Places” with Blind Date, and the crowd went wild when someone requested “more cowbell” during Blue Öyster Cult’s “The Reaper.”

Dancing shoes weren’t optional — everybody was on their feet. The joy, the music, and the mission made the night unforgettable.

Rocking Toward a Cure

Together with our generous sponsors, Pegasus Senior Living helped raise an incredible $220,000 for Alzheimer’s research. Every dollar goes directly toward advancing breakthroughs and bringing hope to millions of families across the country.

We couldn’t have done it without our amazing sponsors, including Platinum sponsors Pegasus Senior Living and Senior Star, Gold sponsors like Craft & Communicate, Polsinelli, Kindful, Welltower, The Bridge Group Construction, and RSF Partners, plus Silver sponsors LTC Properties, Senior Risk, CarePredict, Kindful Health, Hamilton Insurance Agency, and Bluemoon. Thank you for standing with us.

We would also like to thank the local Pegasus Senior Living residents who joined our party!

Our Ongoing Commitment

Events like this are fun, but they’re also a reminder of why we work so hard every day. At Pegasus, our Connections memory care program gives residents living with Alzheimer’s and dementia a chance to thrive through evidence-based activities, compassionate support, and a community that feels like home.

We’ll keep rocking, keep raising awareness, and keep supporting families until the day we find a cure. Until then — crank up the music, and let’s keep the fight going.
